Hawaii, where the ancient echoes through the modern, invites us to not only bask in its natural beauty but also to immerse ourselves in its magical healing traditions. Recently, my journey to Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii was more than just a getaway. I was lucky to have a chance to take care of my friend's lovely dog for two weeks ! Whenever I visit Hawaii, especially Big Island, I feel welcomed and at home. And this time, I felt more at home with a dog and my son visited from Japan.

Waking up each morning to the harmonious melody of birdsong, I felt a deep connection to a land where healing is intrinsic to life itself. Between the volcanic landscapes and sacred peaks, I enjoyed the opportunity to experience a traditional Lomi Lomi massage from an amazing local massage therapist—a practice deeply rooted in Hawaiian culture and revered for its holistic approach to healing.

The Lomi Lomi massage is not merely a physical treatment but a spiritual journey guided by the principles of Aloha, which means love, compassion, and unity. As I lay on the massage table, surrounded by the soothing scents of native oils and the rhythmic touch of the therapist's hands, I felt tensions melt away, replaced by a profound sense of serenity and balance.

The therapist's movements were just like flow of the ocean, honoring the connection between body, mind, and spirit—a connection central to Hawaiian healing practices. It was more than relaxation; it was a journey inward, a rediscovery of harmony and well-being that resonated with the ancient wisdom of these islands.

The experience was heightened by the backdrop of Hawaii's natural wonders—the magical volcanoes, the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, and even the rainbow ! Each element seemed to reinforce the healing power of this sacred land, where every sunrise symbolizes renewal and every sunset whispers of gratitude. Such a blessing !

Mahalo lovely Hawaii ! I will be back..........
